Revenue Framework for Local Government

Council is advised that the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) was requested by the State Government some time ago to recommend changes in the way local council rates are regulated and IPART has released its draft Report dated July 2009. The Mayor and General Manager will be attending a briefing session on IPART’s Draft Report in Wagga Wagga on 8 September 2009 and following that presentation Council may submit comments on the Draft document.
